The University of Huddersfield Business Gateway is a single point of contact with the University for business and the community. It provides a 'business friendly' connection to the knowledge, skills and resources available within the University, including Business Advice, University Facilities, Starting a Business, Training Courses, Recruiting People and Commercial Services

Chinese Career Opportunities Partnership Scheme
The Chinese Career Opportunities Partnership Scheme was launched in 2007 by the University of Huddersfield and the Chinese Consul General. The initiative aims to create employment opportunities for Chinese graduates with British companies operating in China. This programme of university/industry collaboration will bring considerable benefits to the many international companies for which China continues to be one of the fastest-growing markets. The University of Huddersfield currently welcomes over 300 students from the People's Republic of China. Three major companies have already signed up to the programme, Cummins Turbo Technologies (formerly Holset Engineering), Northwave Software and Weir Valves & Controls
