IIFA Awards: who will organise the event in Yorkshire?

Yorkshire company Exclusive Events UK Ltd was awarded the regional project director’s contract for the multi-million pound International Film Academy Awards (IIFA) by the Yorkshire Tourist Board (YTB).

Exclusive will be responsible for the strategic management, operational management, community engagement and regional legacy from the IIFA Weekend event.

YTB chief executive, David Andrews said: "IIFA 2007 in Yorkshire is perhaps the most important event ever held in our region. Its potential to put us firmly on the map as a serious contender for the biggest and brightest events cannot be overestimated. We knew from the beginning that the company awarded the event management contract would be the key to success, it was a hugely important decision and in choosing Exclusive we have a company with a proven background and excellent reputation."
