The 2010 Commonwealth Games are to be held in Delhi, the capital city of India. This will be the first time India has hosted the Games and the second time the event has been held in Asia.
The proposed dates for the Games are 3 – 14 October 2010 inclusive of the Opening and Closing Ceremonies.

Additionally, there are opportunities in security, volunteering co-ordination, broadcasting advice, traffic management, VIP hospitality and management, ticketing and general tourism.
Projected expenditure on venues is US$266.65 million. Games operating expenditure is UK$141.01 million, including grants, ceremonies, cultural programmes, media centre, administration etc.
