Opportunity to attend leading healthcare IT conference

UK Trade & Investment (UKTI) is supporting a visit to HIMSS08 in Orlando, Florida, in February 2008, where healthcare IT professionals, physicians, nurses, pharmacists and vendors from around the world will come together for the world’s largest healthcare IT exhibition.

Last year, HIMSS07 attracted nearly 900 of the world’s healthcare IT vendors to showcase their products. This year organisers are expecting to attract 24,000 visitors.

UKTI can offer a limited number of support packages for companies ready and able to do business in the US.

Successful applicants will receive a package including:

• In-market briefing of the US healthcare IT industry and dynamics
• One-to-one meetings facilitated by UKTI for each individual company
• Attendance at a UKTI reception bringing together key industry figures, potential partners and healthcare IT decision makers
• Shared use of UKTI booth and entry to conference sessions

The deadline for receipt of completed applications is 21 November 2007.
