Yorkshire businesses are being offered the opportunity to learn about the water sector in the priority countries that have been identified by UK Trade & Investment (UKTI) at an event in York.
Officials from the Embassies and High Commission of these priority countries will be visiting the region on Thursday 12 June to provide information on the opportunities in each of the countries. UKTI will also outline its planned activities in the countries and offer an insight into why the countries have been chosen as priority markets for UK exporters. A representative from UKTI based at the British Embassy in Washington DC will also provide information on World Bank and Inter-American Development Bank activities in priority countries.
Delegates attending the event – to take place at Dean Court in York – will also receive information about upcoming trade missions to the priority countries. These are China, India, Bulgaria, Romania, Poland, Egypt, Saudi Arabia and Turkey.
If you are interested in exporting to any of these priority countries, you can learn more by joining one of the UKTI supported trade missions and by commissioning specific investigations to suit your needs from Embassy and High Commission staff present.
