World-class speakers to address Yorkshire business audience

John Howard and George Foreman included in top line-up

A world-class programme of speakers has once again been lined up for the Yorkshire International Business Convention.

Australia’s former Prime Minister John Howard will deliver the keynote address at the event in Harrogate, which takes place every year. Mr Howard is the latest in a series of political leaders to come to Yorkshire for the Convention since it was first launched 13 years ago. He follows in the footsteps of Mikhail Gorbachev, Bill Clinton and George Bush Senior.

Also taking to the stage will be George Foreman, two-time Heavyweight Champion of the World, who has made millions of pounds marketing the ‘Lean Mean Grilling Machine’.

Model, fashion icon and hugely successful businesswoman Elle MacPherson will also address the Yorkshire audience, sharing her life story, business success and secrets of motivation.

Finally, comedian Rory Bremner will make a return visit to the event to keep delegates amused with his impressions, political satire and humour.

The full-day event will take place at the Yorkshire Event Centre in Harrogate on 6 June 2008.
